  • "We all enjoyed our stay in the spacious Angler's Barn."

The layout of the property with the living room upstairs meant that bedtime for my 2 year old was very easy. We enjoyed the views from the windows at the front of the house, unspoilt with the terrible weather, and was able to easily watch a barn owl hunting in the meadows opposite. There was a lot to visit with a short drive from the property and we were only held back with the weather a little. We recommend a hair dryer being placed at the property though.

  • "Greatt holiday."

..owners were very obliging in letting us stay a further night to spend time with family celebrating our granddaughters wedding!

  • "Very agreeable stay in a warm and comfortable house."

Bunks in two rooms mean that the house would lend itself well especially to families with children. It would have been nice to have had one or two essentials already in situ, particularly matches for the fire and one or two dishwasher tabs, but that far from detracts from an enjoyable week!

  • "Fantastic property in a beautiful location."

Very well thought out and only criticism would be the size of the garden for the size of the property but this didn’t take anything away from our stay. Will definitely be back next year!!

  • "The property was beautiful & tHe owners were very helpful when the shower & fridge freezer stopped working, both were rectified promptly, the owners giving up their fridge from home for us which was extremely kind."

Just one improvement needed which was the utility door to kitchen the handle stuck when you were in the utility and you could not get back into kitchen so that needs adjusting.
