As well as walking, mountain bikers and other adrenaline junkies will also be well catered for during their holiday in Fort William, with the Munro Mountains providing enough craggy terrain for even the most hardened adventurer.

What else does West Coast Scotland have to offer? Couples will relish a romantic stroll around the shores of Loch Lomond; families can learn lots about Scottish history in the bustling town of Inveraray; pets will love bounding along the beach at Carradale; and parents will enjoy sipping on fine Scotch whiskey in the wonderful 'wee town' of Campbeltown.
