Abergele is a small seaside town situated on Wales' north coast. It's ideally positioned between the popular resorts of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, both of which are a short drive away. This quiet market town offers a more relaxed and peaceful alternative to its close and much busier neighbours.

With the Irish Sea just to the north, there are several beautiful beaches to explore and scenic coastline to appreciate. Abergele's closest beach is enormous and offers safe swimming and a fantastic range of watersports. There is a coastal path that runs along the sea front, a great place to admire the scenery and take delightful pictures. Aberegele is also known for Gwrych Castle, which overlooks the entire town and is a very impressive and commanding sight. Take advantage of your close proximity to Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and Conwy and enjoy some tourist-friendly days out. Whether it's at Old Colwyn Beach, the Welsh Mountain Zoo or Conwy Castle, you will never be short of fascinating days out.

A cottage in Abergele is the perfect base to explore the fabulous Welsh north coast.
