  • "An absolutely beautiful spot just a few minutes drive out of Treaddur Bay."

The house itself has stunning views of the sea and is literally a couple of minutes walk to get on the beach. Bay View is a very modern house, lovely modern & tasteful decor, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We arrived to discover the second bathroom (with bath) had a small leak from the toilet. I contacted the owner Patricia just to let her know, in case she wasn’t aware. She was so helpful, a plumber arrived within an hour to fix the problem, followed by a delivery of fresh towels as we’d had to use a couple to soak up the water. Fantastic service and Patricia could not have been more friendly or apologetic. Fantastic service! As a couple of other guests have mentioned the fans in the bathrooms don’t work, quick can result in them smelling a bit musty as neither have windows. I’m sure this will be sorted ASAP. We absolutely loved the location, there are some amazing coastal walks right outside the door. Wonderful to return to a cozy and warm house on a winters evening. We will definitely return, already looking to book for the same time next year. Thank you, Denise & Tony :-)

  • "Lovely house most suited to adults with older children."

Not really suitable for young children. Needs a few light bulbs changing and the extractors in the bathrooms don’t work. Desperately needs a second shower in one of the bathrooms. Small niggles but otherwise a beautiful house.

  • "A lovely cottage in a great spot for the beach."

Clean, warm and luxurious, although with no window or extractor fans in the bathrooms it can smell a bit musty. That aside, a great place. However I’ll never use Sykes again after a dismal response to a previous complaint at another property about health and safety issues, and only came here because it was already booked. Thankfully, this lovely house gave no cause to contact Sykes at all.

  • "Stunning location and house and would definitely return."

Constructive criticism: garden/deck needs tidying up and I would prefer that pillow protectors were used.

  • "The location was great just a short walk to a couple of quiet bays with small beaches."

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay View and the only issues we had were as we had our 15 month old grandson with us and the living room was upstairs there was no baby gate available or a high chair in the kitchen, as it was listed as a family property I think Lt would be appreciated if these were available for guests if needed. The outside decking is definitely in need of updating/ repair but other than those two areas the property provided a great stay and was very comfortable.

  • "Bay View Cottage The cottage we had in Trearddur Bay, Anglesey was absolutely brilliant 10/10, however, the garden and decking are at rear could do with a little tlc and sprucing up a bit but it was still usable and we enjoyed using it."

We are already looking forward to and planning our next holiday in the same house later this year. Shaun & Sue Stephens

Bay View has all the facilities one or two families need and the beach is a stone's throw away. Only small problem is that their is only one shower with one bathroom not having a shower

The beach is just a minute away and my grandson(5) loved playing at there and at the back of the house. I would certainly book again and recommend it to anyone.

  • "Great experience."

Very well kept cottage at a nice location. Standard and attention to detail was amazing. The owner/manager were very helpful when we needed some guidance (particular thanks to Patricia). Highly recommended!

  • "Great house in a great location."

Very well equipped with everything you could need for a stay. The main beach is a 15 minute walk away. At the end of the drive (not even 2 minutes away) are beautiful rocky coves perfect for rock pools. Views from the decking are beautiful. If I’m being picky, there is only one shower which is in the en-suite, could do with a shower in the main bathroom especially after a day at the beach and 8 people needing a shower! A table on the decking to sit around in the evening would be nice to. Would love to go back!

  • "The house was amazing."

The furnishings, layout, attention to detail, comfort, facilities, outside decking with sea views made this a fabulous holiday home. Very good location, close to the sea, walking distance to the beach and Pub. Brilliant for coastal Walks and great for runners as Holy Island has some lovely scenery and also very quiet. I have stayed in many holiday homes for over 25 years and Bay View has to be the best I have stayed in the UK.
