"Couldn’t get the internet also very difficult to find it could with more bigger signage on the right side of the road for traffic."
-
"Lovely property in a peaceful setting with amazing views, the outside of the property is looking tired but this did not effect our stay."
An information pack about the property and surrounding area would be useful. We would definitely come back.
-
"What a wonderful place to stay, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed."
The bed was really comfortable with lovely quality bedding. It was lovely to sit outside on the patio watching the rabbits play and enjoying the sheep and the views were amazing. We will definitely return as we had such a lovely time
-
"Really enjoyed our stay."
Well appointed, quiet and comfortable cottage in lovely location overlooking open countryside. You can also spend time rabbit watching from bedroom window if you like wildlife!
-
"Great little cottage with stunning views of the Cotswold hills."
Love visiting here.

"We loved cider cottage and will hopefully go back in the summer."
Vouple of things would benefit in the kichen area such as tongs and steak knives.on the maintenance the water system is terrible it coughs and splutters and could become dangerous when very hot. There should be more instructions for heating and recycling. But on the whole we loved it.

"Lovely holiday at Cider cottage which was very well equipped and had everything you need."
Lovely patio to sit out on and relax, loved hearing the sound of the sheep and birds. It's in a perfect location to visit some amazing places. Everyone on the farm very friendly so a very enjoyable stay.

"Maybe it was a temporary problem but some real issues with the plumbing."
The sound of the water tank in the roof place constantly re-filling at night was annoying. Also when using the taps or shower there was a pressure problem where the water came out in big bursts. Again this might have just been a temporary problem as one of the owners told us there was no water for the first hour or so of arriving. Other than that we had a really pleasant break no other problems.
Thank you for your feedback. There was a problem during your stay in the area with Severn Trent Water. The council are building new properties nearby and this puts pressure on the mains and had caused a burst pipe. This was being repaired during your stay but was not caused by the owner or the property. There is no tank in the loft of the property. Once again, thank you for your comments Property Owner

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cider Cottage."
It is in a lovely, peaceful setting but is well placed for visiting many places of interest. It is well equipped and comfortable, and we loved the views across the countryside from the rear of the property. It would have been useful to have instructions for such things as appliances, bins, heating, etc. The heating/,hot water system was quite noisy during the night which could be annoying for light sleepers. We had no water on the last evening (beyond the owner's control) but Mr Burrows did keep us up to date with the situation. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Cider Cottage and will definitely stay there again.

"The only thing which we noticed was the quilt on the bed was to thick as a summer one, personal preference."
The torch in the bedroom was a great idea, especially for us pensioners . Other than that everything was perfect, we really enjoyed watching the rabbits and birds life. Thanks Cider Cottage.

"It's a lovely cottage in a lovely area with wonderful views and easy access to so many places of interest and things to do."
The family who own it are very friendly and helpful and we had a really relaxing time. Would go again.

"My partner and I had an amazing holiday at cider cottage."
The cottage is perfect ,well equipped to suit all your needs ,very clean and tidy and the garden is large, spacious with garden furniture. The setting is fantastic, the views are amazing, it's very peaceful and delightful listening to and watching the sheep. The owner is very friendly despite being busy on the farm. A lovely place to stay we had what we consider to be our best UK holiday to date. Many thanks

"We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay."
The cottage is in a great location- peaceful countryside that feels remote enough but so close to Stratford on Avon and in easy reach of the Cotswolds and other places such as Warwick. On the farm, the birds, sheep, rabbits, and dogs were lovely to see. The cottage was extremely clean and it was well equipped, although perhaps a slightly wider bed could help. Owners were friendly and welcoming. It's a great area to stay in for National Trust members, with so many of their sites nearby and also the great castles at Warwick and Kenilworth. It's nice and easy to pop into Stratford for dinner and do the Shakespeare houses and butterfly house, and there are great walking routes nearby as well. We recommend and hope to come back one day!

"A lovely cottage with wonderful views of the downs, very well equipped and cosy."
The family were friendly and helpful. An added bonus was seeing the sheep, rabbits and birds. Would definitely come again. Jan

"This is the third time we've stayed at Cider Cottage and it is just as clean, peaceful and relaxing as before."
The views and the surrounding areas are wonderful.
-
"Most cottages provide a booklet with instructions for WiFi, oven, recycling etc."
If there was one I never found it! Otherwise super cottage and very pleasant and relaxing stay
-
"Lovely and clean, cosy, adequate facilities and peaceful area, really enjoyed our stay."
Only cons were dog barking most nights for hours so disturbed nights sleep and heavy quilt on the bed, as it was 30° much too hot, needed a summer lighter quilt. Otherwise lovely stay, would recommend.
-
"The property was perfect for our stay, very comfortable, clean and tidy and with everything we could possibly need."
The location was also lovely, relaxing evenings out on the patio watching the bat's and each morning looking out to wonderful views. We will definitely be back.

"What an amazing well earned break we had at Cider Cottage!"
The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The views were to die for and the proximity to the town was great, not to near and not too far! The cottage is very well situated for lots of activities and walks in the local area. We will definitely be back in the future!

"Cider Cottage is a rare find."
Lovely well kept and spotlessly clean little home from home. The views are absolutely fantastic and the quiet is wonderful. Plenty of birds around and sheep. A lovely place to unwind.
-
"What a lovely cottage to stay in, it was perfect for our needs, and only a short 7 min drive to the town centre!"
The owner was so helpful and accommodating for us, we couldn’t thank him enough! Very clean and immaculate property, and had great amenities! I had forgotten my hair dryer and was so relieved to find one in the drawer! Very happy with the service and would highly recommend- will not hesitate to book again when we are next visiting in Stratford!
-
"The cottage was lovely, clean, kitchen was well equiped with what you need, the only thing we thought was missing in the kitchen was something to hang towels , tea towels etc."
Also only a small thing could have done with a table lamp instead of the bright spotlights. All in all a lovely cottage in a good place to visit a lot of the beautiful cotswolds. Was met by a lovely lady on our arrival and shown where to park. Thank you.

"Yes, the walk in shower is very slippery- no mat and the floor smooth so no grip, no handle to hold onto, no where for soap, very un-user friendly."
the boiler is situated outside the cottage against what is the head of the bed and starts up with noise at various times including in the night and early hours with louds bangs, etc... it woke me/us every time without fail !!!! if it wasnt for these reasons we would not hesitate to rebook as lovely setting, friendly owners and convenient location. however, owner does need better signage at the road entrance with a reflector light to be visible at night - it is all rather run down and a little un loved at the approach but the converted holiday lets are excellent value

"My partner and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage."
The mornings were fresh and being greeted by the sheep on our way out was a great start to our day. Mr Burrows made us feel very welcomed and the cottage was even more beautiful than we expected. It was a short journey to the town and the taxi prices were cheap enough but I would suggest you book these journeys on the day. Would highly recommend.
-
"A delightful cottage just the right distance from Stratford upon Avon and well into the countryside."
Parking was easy and secure and the cottage was in every way well appointed. We very much hope to come again.
-
"Cottage was nice, but we wouldn't stay there again."
Unfortunately boiler was behind bedroom wall, and it sometimes went off at night, waking us up!. Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable with heavy, hot quilt. The 'garden' was just a courtyard and was too hot to sit in most of the time, with very limited views over countryside due to brick wall. No grass or plants! Nowhere to walk to direct from cottage. Sorry but it wasn't for us. But we did enjoy our stay.
-
"Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it."
Good location and nicely equipped cottage with a nice area to sit out and enjoy. Very nice friendly people. I think a booklet with info on the local area would have been helpful but we found our way around ok
-
"Extremely comfortable cottage; amazing countryside; excellent hosts in Jean and Clive."
-
"Had a great stay at this cottage we enjoyed our stay despite the weather."
Cottage is comfortable with all you need for a short stay and only a short drive to Stratford. Would definitely try and visit again.
-
"Very comfortable cottage, beautiful views and ideally placed for travelling to the tourist sites."
-
"Had a wonderful holiday."
Great destination. Amazing views. The wildlife was amazing. Was seeing kestrals, buzzards, kites, goldfinches, barn swallows. All in all just had an amazing time ☺️
-
"Great south facing little cottage amongst a few other holiday cottages and the working farm."
Lovely and peaceful with great views and sunny spots to have breakfast and watch the sun go down in the evening. Friendly owners on site to report problems with the water heating to. No laundry facilities but we had exactly what we needed for our week's stay.
-
"The main road to the cottage was closed."
Would have been helpful if this could have been passed on. As detour was very confusing - agree signs were not the owners fault - but added at least 45 mins to journey and 2 phone calls to the owner for directions! On plus side found a lovely garden centre with very good butchers!!
-
"The cottage was spotlessly clean the view from the front window was lovely the patio at the front of cottage would be very welcome on a sunny day ."
The cottage was very convenient to the places near Strafford we wanted to visit.

"Our stay at Cider Cottage was wonderful."
The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. The views were a joy and we were blessed with good weather which allowed us many an opportunity to relax with a cup of coffee on the patio looking out onto rolling fields. The owners were lovely, friendly and very helpful, making sure that we had plenty of clean linen and towels as we needed them. I would definitely recommend Cider Cottage to anyone; it is situated in open country, yet very close to Stratford. For us, it was perfect.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cider Cottage."
The cottage was spotless in a peaceful location with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The country was still coming out of lockdown due to the Covid pandemic so none of the Shakespeare properties were open but, as National Trust members, we had pre-booked access to the grounds (houses not yet open) of nearby NT properties and had a lovely time exploring Baddlesley Clinton, Packwood, Charlecote and Coughton Court as well as pre-booking a visit to Kenilworth Castle (very interesting and open as it is English Heritage). We also loved wandering (at a social distance) around Stratford upon Avon down by the Canal. We plan to return another year!

"The accommodation had everything we could wish for."
Lovely warm welcome from Jean and welcome pack of milk, eggs, tea coffee and sugar was there for us. It even provided two bottles of wine / cider although we didn't use this as we don't drink alcohol. Plenty of white goods and separate laundry room with washing machine and drier. Could not fault cleanliness. Very peaceful location and well located for all attractions. Stratford itself only a few minutes away. Would definitely go there again if we wanted to holiday in the area again and would have no hesitation in recommending.
-
"We had a good welcome to a very pleasant newly opened cottage."
A good space for a couple. A few more mugs would have been good! Limited instructions about equipment/ heating etc made it difficult. The only person we had contact with on-site was unable sort out heating etc.
-
"This cottage has been converted from a farm building previously used by long term owners."
It would appear the conversion is fairly recent as there are no obvious signs of tiredness and the decoration and fitments all look new. Not a gripe but a bit surprised there was no dishwasher with a new installation. The bed was firm and clean and the walk in shower very good. There had been some previous comments about the underfloor heating being problematic to alter and it’s fair to say the wall stat doesn’t function in a way I’ve ever experienced but that said we went during a chilly damp week in October and the cottage was always warm and there was always hot water. It’s well placed geographically and we drove in all directions for up to an hour mainly to visit National Trust venues which are plentiful in the area and all had interesting stories. If you went with this in mind you would get the price of annual membership back within a few days. It’s definitely sheep country. Can’t remember seeing a cow for the week except at Adam Henson’s farm which term time online OAP rate of £8.50 was worth the visit for a few hours. All in all a very pleasant week was had by a fairly fussy older generation couple.

"The cottage was lovely."
Appreciating that it was a new cottage I would suggest a couple of things; 1) would be good to have a recycling bin and maybe a compost bin as there was only one waste facility and I would prefer to see more attention to the environment. The heating in the cottage was underfloor which is great but not once was I able to work out how to control it, switching it on and off to suit my needs, seems it was off during the day but on all night. I was sometimes chilly when I was in as the weather was awful and at night when in bed I was sheltering, stayed 4 nights and never got the hang of it. Apart from these two minor and easily fixed areas it was a perfect stay. Thank you

"Really enjoyed our stay in a perfect cottage ."
Very peaceful. we enjoyed the welcome pack .a very warm welcome.
-
"The cottage was new and we were the first Tennant's."
Great location unless you suffer from hayfever as it is a working hay producing farm. Everything was new and well equiped. Wasn't happy though with the huge booking fee by Sykes nearly half a days rent.
