  • "The property was lovely."

There is a bit of a steep grassy bank to get to it but despite the weather was surprisingly not slippy. It was a well equipped property except a broom would have been useful to have a quick sweep round midweek instead of getting the hoover out.

Thank you very much for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback and helpful suggestion for the Lodge. Thanks Property Owner

  • "Amazing stay in Top of The World."

Gorgeous accommodation with the most amazing views. Loads of room for the six of us. Love how the cupboards are full with everything you needs, games books and the kitchen has everything you need too. Can’t wait to return. The walk up to the lodge is quite steep so not great on a wet day but the description does confirm this.

Thank you for your booking and taking the time to review your stay, it is really appreciated. We are so glad that you enjoyed seeing the New Year in at the Lodge and we would love to welcome you back any time! Property Owner

  • "We felt right at home from the minute we arrived!"

What a lovely lodge - it has everything that you need, and more. We felt so relaxed and really got the ‘escape’ we needed. Aberdovey is also lovely, with lots of nice walks. We ventured out on some trips around Snowdonia National Park and had the best time. I have recommended the lodge to family & friends already. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are really glad you had a great stay at the Lodge. Property Owner

  • "This place felt like home from home the second we walked in."

Everything from the spacious layout, the comfy beds, the stunning view and all of the perfect amenities are above and beyond expectations. If there are any concerns in terms of dog safety - there is now a gate on the decking area. Our 2 escape agents had no chance to make a break for freedom so we were completely comfortable. We will 100% be back here...it is the best stay we've ever had and we miss it already. Even during storm Agnes we were comfy, cosy, felt perfectly safe and sheltered. Honestly the dream location for a peaceful, tranquil break.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It is indeed cosy even in a storm! We are very glad you all had a wonderful stay! Property Owner

  • "I didn't realise how steep the path was to the property."

Four journeys up to the chalet with luggage exhausted me. (I am a fit 80). At night the outside lights weren't working and it felt very dangerous taking dogs out, as the huge drop outside wasn't lit. In addition, heavy rain on grassy banks could have been dangerous to walk on. It's a lovely chalet and I'd booked a return in November. But had to cancel as my cousin with a heart condition was coming.... Totally unsuitable for him.

We are really sorry you weren’t able to enjoy your stay because of the location. We have always listed the property as unsuitable for limited mobility and care to be taken on the slope when wet. Perhaps we’ll add a photo of the path up to help. But thank you for advising the outside light needs mending. We will do that asap. Property Owner

We have wanted to stay in this park for years and only ever wanted to book this particular lodge. We were not disappointed. It is fabulously presented and had everything we needed. The view is amazing and just the best way to have an early morning cuppa, or an evening glass of wine. Would highly recommend.

  • "What a location!"

We have had the most wonderful time, and mostly helped by how wonderful the Lodge is. Stunningly decorated in such a calm restful way, with everything having thought and consideration. We had everything we needed! Spacous and light. The games and tv entertainment were great too! Everyrhing was so well maintained outside and peacful. So noise! We appreciated the booklet you left which we used everyday to plan our activities/places to visit. I have reccommended you to family and we also plan to re-book. We have fallen in love with Aberdovey and your lodge helped us create some wonderful memories. Thankyou

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted you really enjoyed Aberdovey and the lodge and great to hear our info booklet helped. Thanks for staying with us! Property Owner
