"Chalet Forte is a cosy little lodge however in the hot weather it gets extremely hot inside."
.. maybe good insulation and windows would help, as insulation also helps keep a property cool in the summer months as well as warm in the winter months....I'm not sure if we would stay again, you have to use your car to get into Aberdovy, which was a bit of a pain for us, we like to be closer to all shops, restaurants etc so we can just walk...

"Lovely place, definitley has a womanly touch - understand most people eat out etc but we cooked and found little things like cooking utensils and cutlery to be old and need updating."
Also no regular glasses just wine glasses & mugs this is the only ‘flaw’ if there was one. Great location we have stayed in another chalet before and love it, close to beaches and things to do as long as you have a car.

"Chalet Forte is in an absolutely stunning, peaceful location."
The chalet has everything you may need and Lynda was very helpful upon our arrival to inform us about the natural water supply. The only reason I marked down the comfort was due to the settee not being very comfortable. I feel the chalet would benefit with having a visitors information pack, there are plenty of leaflets with things to do but there was no information in relation to stripping of beds and leaving dirty towels at the end of your stay (Lynda answered this for me). I know storage space is limited but a vacuum/indoor brush would really be useful also (My elderly mother who was with me, likes to tidy around

"This is a lovely getaway to the Welsh Countryside."
Beautiful and scenic location Comfort, if you don't mind driving up a very bendy incline it's fine(my family love this and find it exciting) 1 of the party members was unhappy with 1 of the beds, otherwise it was great. We had a great stay. (Don't forget your wash bags, shops are far if you need a shower and prefer a bar of soap) The cutest little kitchen and cosy fires. Loved it. Would consider going again. 1 hour scenic drive to Barmouth Beach and 25mins from Cadir Idris for a breathtaking hike. 10mins from steam train
