  • "Rae was a lovely host and very helpful."

The property has idyllic views over the Welsh farming countryside and is well designed for a large family. The enclosed garden was ideal for us with a very inquisitive 4 year old with us, it was a very safe environment for small children. The house is very well equipped enabling us to have most meals at home and ideal for the family get together.

Great place for grownups or family with children - they have put different little ornament animals around the garden which are very cute. We loved watching the squirrel & the birds at different times of the day. There is lots of places within half hour or less drive to visit. You can go longer journeys if you love to explore more.

  • "The cottage was all we expected and more from the adverts."

The owner, Rae was most helpful and accommodating and a pleasure to meet. The area and views from the cottage were outstanding and most tranquil. The only minor comment was that the internet connection was not strong and failed completely one evening. This we fully understand, is outside of your control, however worth mentioning. We really enjoyed our holiday with so much to see and do in the surrounding area. Thank you.

  • "We had a lovely holiday and the house was comfortable with everything you need."

The situation of the house was lovely although the single track lanes were difficult at times. The farmers were cutting the grass and spreading silage when we were there so it smelt bad for a couple of days but that is not the owners fault. The best beach was Conwy - the 2 year old in our party loved it. The Orme tramway however was not good. You cannot book and we were told the wait was 1 hour plus which made it impossible. Very annoying for everyone. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the garden. I would say that with the steep increase in price for next year we would not be able to return.

  • "We had a brilliant holiday in this house, it was very specious and very clean."

The owner went that extra mile by providing toilet rolls, santatiser, liquid soap and everything else required in the kitchen, we literally only needed our food and drink. There was a nice bottle of wine and cookies left for us also. There was only two of us but there is plenty of room for a large family or two or more families staying. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio, the garden is lovely as are the views. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything you need. I would certainly recommend staying here.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday and the house was very comfortable for us."

The house comfortably sleeps 8 people but there was only 2 of us so it was extremely spacious and comfortable for us. The views were amazing and the location was so quiet. The house is well placed to visit many of the local attractions. We have been to North Wales several times but on this occasion we visited some places we hadn't in the past. Llandudno was especially nice with plenty to do. We also had a lovely afternoon going on the barge trip at Llangollen followed by a steam train trip. Angelsey, Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, Bodnant and Beaumaris are within easy reach. The house was well equipped and things like washing up liquid, cloths, bin bags, condiments and handwash was supplied for the kitchen, bathroom and downstairs loo. In previous self catering holidays, we have had to take those things with us. We particularly liked the mixture of modern and old furniture; something to please everyone. Rae, the owner, met us at the property to show us around and to answer any questions we had, which was very helpful. The only slightly negative things were the road up to the property was a single track but it was worth it for the views. The other things were; the en-suite to one of the bedrooms was just a shower and basin so there was only one full bathroom. It was ok for us as there were only 2 of us. I can imagine it would be a bit awkward if there were 8 people sharing the house. There was a downstairs loo which was very useful. I personally, didn't think the garden was suitable for small children as it was quite sloped and a few large steps to get to the garden from the balcony. There was plenty of outside seating and every day we sat outside admiring the views. We would strongly recommend a holiday at Llecha.

  • "Llecha is absolutely beautiful with panoramic views, a lovely terrace and garden and a really well-equipped kitchen."

There is plenty of space for six adults (as we were). Rae was really kind and welcoming and even met us at the Shell garage so that we could follow him to the cottage for the first time (as the SatNav sometimes doesn't take you the best way). It is a beautiful part of the country and has the sea, mountains, castles, steam railways, slate mines, gardens, good restaurants and all kinds of activities within easy reach of the cottage (by car). All in all, a really nice place to stay.

The owner Rae made us very wecome and even left us water bottles as it was during the snowy weather we had, a kind touch! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility, the house is very private and rural but only ten minutes from shops and only a short drive to the beaches. We spent time walking in Snowdonia, visiting Conwy, Llandudno and Bwets Y Coed, all within easy drives of Llecha. Would definately recommend.
