The property

Sandy Lodge is a stylish ground-floor lodge, hidden within Sand le Mere in Tunstall, East Yorkshire.

This pet-friendly ground-floor lodge is the ideal venue for families or groups of six seeking to explore this corner of the country.

As you enter the property from the attractive veranda, you are welcomed by a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area boasting two large patio doors.

Host your own dinner party at the dining table, whilst entertaining your friends and family as you cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen.

Once full on delicious food and great conversation, why not turn on the electric fire and make yourselves comfortable on the sofas, before flicking on the TV to catch your favourite shows before bed.

As the evening draws to an end, retire to the first twin bedroom where you will find a choice of two single beds.

As you wake the next morning in this bright and airy room, take your time getting ready for the day at your dressing table and store away your belongings in fitted wardrobes.

Freshen up for the day ahead in the family bathroom, complete with a walk-in-shower, WC and basin.

After an action-packed day, take some time out in the second twin bedroom by relaxing on the bed and reliving your holiday memories so far.

For those staying in the king-size bedroom, be charmed by the delightful décor, king-size bed and wall-mounted TV, before entering the contemporary walk-in wardrobe to choose your outfit for the day.

The remaining two bedrooms also come with flat screen TVs so you can stay curled up under the covers and enjoy your favourite morning shows.

For a refreshing shower, make your way into the well-thought-out en-suite featuring a shower, WC and basin.

With many activities to choose from, finding a fun-filled day out for all will be no hard task.

For alfresco dining, head out onto the veranda and take a seat at the outdoor dining area provided or dine out at the nearby Roos Arms pub which offers some fantastic food options.

Make the most of your stay at the holiday park by enjoying a spot of fishing down at the fishing lake or taking your four-legged friends for a countryside walk.

On-site facilities also include a heated indoor swimming pool with water slides, something your little ones would delight in and the added benefit of a sauna and steam room for the adults.

The park boasts a wide range of activities such as archery, go active football, Kwik cricket and assault courses, as well as having an onsite entertainment complex and amusement arcade.

A delightful little village on the east coast of England. A very short drive takes you to the delightful beaches, perfect for a family holiday. The village itself is historical and beautiful with a Grade I listed parish church. It is a traditional village with old cottages and houses as well as a traditional butchers and bakery, two village pubs, a Post Office, Church of England Primary School and a village hall. Just a short drive away is the delightful town of Withernsea which is most certainly worth a visit whilst you're in this area. Also close to Roos is the bustling, beautiful city of Hull, just a short drive away it is a lot different from Roos but is certainly worth a visit whilst you're in the area.
