• "Beautiful lodge in an idillic setting."

  We loved the lodge, back door needed fixing and more backing trays/ grill pan would have made it perfect. Everywhere was clean, bed comfortable and outdoor furniture was lovely. Greta layout and loved both bathrooms leading out to the hot tub.Hot tub was clean and well maintained throughout, great temperature and loved the covering so we could enjoy it even in the rain. The lakes and walks are stunning, perfect quiet place to get away from it all. Nice touch with a complimentary drink at the Bistro. We will definitely be back again.

• "We had a lovely week, which exactly met our needs and expectations."

  The lodge was spacious, well equipped, and clean and tidy. Both bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own ensuite facilities. The immediate surroundings of the lodges were well maintained, and landscaped nicely but also with a nod to look to blend in with the forest setting. The wildflower areas surroundind each lodge were a welcome addition. We took advantage of the many forest walks, which were all signposted and were maintained. I would recommend visiting the bistro, whose staff were very friendly. Also, if you can, I'd really recommend ordering the takeaway afternoon tea that Deb sorted for us. It was amazing, and included one which was prepared Gluten-Free for a conformed Coeliac, who experienced no problems. We will look to visit again in the future, that's for sure.

• "Exceeded our expectations."

  The site is kept clean and maintained. The accommodation is huge, finished to a high standard, king sized beds, both bedrooms ensuite. Kitchen to a high standard with Bosch appliances. Lovely walks in the forest. Good quality clean hot tub with a complimentary duck :). Would definitely return for a peaceful relaxing break again. One moan was maintenance team leave all the inspection doors open under the cabin. Although there are around 50 other cabins it still feels very peaceful and private. Well done to all staff and owners, you have created an amazing site

• "Absolutely beautiful lodge and site."

  Very clean, wouldn't have known other dogs had stayed there. Very peaceful and relaxing as well as plenty of walks to explore the area. Lovely welcome pack including a bottle of wine and treats for the dog. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again.
