  • "Just the lack of garden, which was tough with our dog, especially with thefoul weather, but I realise it was our choice to book a cottage without one."

Everything else was fab thank you.

  • "It's always good upon arrival to receive a welcome pack with some essentials."

The last time we stayed in a holiday rental a pack was provided, though it wasn't advertised. However that wasn't the case at this property, so a little disappointing in that respect.

  • "A blind or curtains at the bathroom window would be excellent as the toilet is situated right next to the window - we like privacy - couldn't have the light on at night without being seen from the outside window."

  • "We were very pleased with the cottage."

Wooler is a good base to explore the area and for good walking. The cottage is on a quiet road and had everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable. Parking was easy with a small supermarket and shops a short walk away. We would stay again.

  • "We had a lovely stay at magpie cottage."

It was spotlessly clean full of charm with all the mod-cons. Everything you could want for was at your doorstep. Wooler itself was a great little town with essential shops, eateries and pubs. Wooler Common is such a beauty spot ideal for walkers cyclists and dog walkers. An ideal base to explore Nortumberland and the border towns from, not to mention Edinburgh which isn't far away. I would highly recommend Magpie cottage to everyone, many thanks Marie and Jeff
