"Absolutely loved our stay."
The parlour was lovely and spacious. Extremely clean, and well stocked. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of walking around the beautiful scenery. The combi-oven was not so good when trying to cook a roast (a bit too technical for me and kept cutting out). The farm animals were so cute and hilarious. Dovedale was a particular highlight of our stay. Will definitely come again.

"Amazing little lodge with hot tub."
Clean and spacious, very modern and has all amenities. Very cosy and lovely place, would definitely recommend.

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Parlour cottage, surrounded by a beautiful farm and scenery."
The only quarm we had was that there was no cover above the hot tub, which makes a big difference especially with our UK weather. There was no long mirror, and cleanliness was good and clean, however the sheets were smelling slightly damp. I think just needed to be aired before put on. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Overall I recommend this place and will definitely visit again!

"The Parlour is an amazing place to stay!"
It isn’t the biggest of places, but it makes up for this in every other area. The property its fitted out to a high standard and was clean and well presented when we arrived. We loved seeing the farm animals and hearing the cockerels throughout the day. For saying it a working farm the whole site it is very well kept, and although there are multiple properties on site it still felt very private. Highly recommend!

"The parlour is a lovely place to stay with plenty of places to visit nearby."
Had a couple of issues on arrival but dealt with very swiftly and efficiently. Dave and Helen are brilliant hosts and always on hand to sort anything and offer advice.

"This was our 3rd stay at The Parlour, another wonderful romantic break, this time over Valentines."
Highly highly recommended!

"Everything was perfect apart from the clunking of metal on the radiators during the night with me and my wife being very light sleepers we struggled to sleep but everything else was perfect, thank you."
-
"We had the most enjoyable holiday at the Parlour."
We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. The furnishings were all excellent. The hot tub was spot on and the most perfect way to start Christmas day. Some nice touches had also been added to celebrate the Christmas holidays. We had a really good time.

"This was ideal for our three night stay."
Clean and we loved the hot tub! The weather meant we couldn’t make more use of the outside space but it was attractive and private. Inside was ‘bijou’ and although somewhere to shelve suitcase ( and/or) contents would have been useful it certainly is somewhere we’d stay again. Thank you.

"I cannot fault anything."
The accommodation was a decent size, clean, comfy and well equipped. Outside, was secluded, maintained and the hot tub, amazing and probably one of the best we've used. The area was quiet and secluded, and I loved seeing the animals. All in all, probably one of the best lodge/cabin breaks we have had

"This was a fantastic place to stay, perfect location and just what was needed for a half term getaway."

"Definitely deserves a round two!"
Just what I needed, somewhere surrounded by nature to relax. The animals were lovely, and the shops are still nice and close with loads of food options. Highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back!

"Property was fine for a couple, only issue was lack of any storage available for clothes, I think at least there should be a couple of three drawer units to put your clothes in, had to work out of a bag all week, doesn’t feel homely if you haven’t been able to unpack !"

"The Parlour offered the perfect stay to go out and enjoy what the Peak District and surrounding areas have to offer."

"What a wonderful retreat!"
We had an amazing stay, and the owners, especially Helen, were so lovely and helpful. We got a bit lost trying to find the cottage, but Helen gave us clear directions over the phone that saved the day. The cottage itself was incredibly comfortable, and the views were simply stunning. As an added bonus, we loved seeing all the farm animals! After we left, we realized we had accidentally forgotten a baby bottle. Helen was incredibly kind and offered to send it back to us right away. Her friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile really made a lasting impression. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway

"Thank you for an amazing stay ‘The Parlour’ had everything we could possibly need."
It had a cosy vibe and the hot tub was a lovely addition to being relaxed. We had the best, relaxed and cosy break away. It is centred near different villages and areas easy to access within driving distance. We stayed here to go to explore different areas near the Peak District. The only thing we would say the early wake up call by the cockerel was a pleasure surprise!

"We couldn’t have found a more perfect, relaxing, well located little holiday home."
Helen was so welcoming, with great local knowledge. We spent most of our days exploring the local area, Tutbury, Derby, Lichfield, and then returned back to cook tea, and enjoy the hot tub. Furnishings and decoration were all premium quality. It was so nice to have incredibly decent equipment in the kitchen too, as we like to cook for ourselves mostly. The cottage is looked after, clean, comfortable, and I would highly recommend it for couples or even renting a few of the properties as a bigger group.
