"The apartment is beautiful in a lovely area of Perthshire."
It is very well kitted out, with a very good selection kitchen utensils. It could be enhanced by a curtain on front windows in Winter lets, however that is my only negative comment, would very happily book again.
-
"We absolutely loved our stay!"
The house is just great, and equipped with everything we could have needed. Perfectly located for munros and exploring the local area. We will be back! Thank you
-
"Beautiful property."
Well loved and a real home from home. We are planning to book again next year. Thank you.
-
"Fantastic holiday home, extremely clean, fresh and modern decor yet homely."
Beds huge and comfortable and shower’s hot and powerful. Everything thought of, plus! Will definitely return.

"Kalipe is a very well appointed appartment with a side loch view."
Stunning location. It is bright and very comfortable with lovely vibrant furnishings fresh and airy and a perfect place to spend three nights for my Son's wedding. Perfect for sightseeing and visiting the little Perthshire villages in Perth and Kinross. Highly recomnend and we certainly hope to return

"Had a lovely few days at Kalipé."
Stunning property with beautiful views of the loch to the side, an added bonus was we got to sit on the balcony for an hour or two. The decor was lovely and everything was in the kitchen that you would need. We were really looking forward to the log burner and it was great but our only gripe was they were a bit tight with the logs! If you want a roaring fire all night especially in the colder months you may want to take your own. A good base to explore the surrounding areas. We used the electric charger on site which was great. Would recommend and return.
-
"A lovely modern property."
Very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely outlook. A joy to come back to after a day exploring the lovely towns, villages and countryside of the area.
-
"Wonderful holiday home that exceeded our expectations."
Our family had an amazing time, though one week felt too short! We’d definitely consider staying here again in the future. One minor suggestion: it would be great if the hall had blackout curtains like the bedrooms, as it currently only has a sheer/net curtain.

"A lovely property in a great location."
Quiet and peaceful even though it’s in a small cluster of c.25 houses. The property is stylishly fitted, very well equipped with good quality fittings and in immaculate condition.

"We booked this house for 7 of our 10 day Scottish tour."
The house is furnished to a very high standard and everything was like new. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The location while quiet was absolutely perfect and the view from the lounge of balcony to the Loch was lovely. The owner was very quick to respond to a couple of questions I had plus unlike other guests I had no issue with the heating controls. The images on the site are exactly representative of the property. Definitely one to revisit should we find ourselves in that part of Scotland again.

"We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived at this beautiful property."
The house is very clean and stylishly furnished. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

"Beautiful property so well furnished and everything you need."
Loved the balcony and views gorgeous. Having the garden over the road made it ,to be able to sit and see the Loch. Kenmore lovely to. So relaxing.

"Loved our stay."
Was a fantastic house and all facilities were perfect. The balcony was amazing and the weather was so kind to us. In an idyllic setting also. Only negatives were maybe some blinds for the patio doors for privacy and we managed to get the heating working but the radiators on the upstairs seemed not to warm up much. Would not deter me from booking again. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.
-
"Very well equipped property everything worked as expected, the heating system seemed to be rather complicated (maybe our inability to understand) which led to frequent resetting of timer."
All in all very impressed with quality of furnishings. After reading previous reviews the owners have obviously taken on-board several of the suggestions made which shows a willingness of care by the property provider.

"A super modern apartment ideally placed for climbing Perthshire's mountains."
Having the wood burning stove was handy as we had -7c temperatures. A few constructive suggestions Some sort of mat or rug in front of the stove to protect the carpet. ?Curtains for main lounge window in winter (insulation) The extractor fan in the ensuite lets in cold air, so it is cool and we used the main bathroom.
Hi Douglas, many thx for your feedback. Much appreciated. It will surely help us improve our customers experience. Looking forward to welcoming you back to Kalipe’. Property Owner

Design and layout worked very well. Highly recommended.

"A beautiful property thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"You have a lovely property which felt so clean and new."
We liked the attention to detail and choice of appliances. Great to see use of air-source heat pumps for heating. Shame we didn’t stay longer.
-
"Almost perfect accommodation."
Very comfortable and beautifully equipped. No heat from the towel radiator meant the towels never really dried properly. Not a big problem if the weather was better.
Dear John, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear the weather was not that good during your stay at Kalipe'. Our guests can adjust temperature as desired for all heaters in the house, including the towel ones, through the heating control system as per home manual. We hope you enjoyed Kenmore/Aberfeldy area and look forward to welcoming you back soon in our cottage. Property Owner

"Tastefully presented and had everything you could possibly need."
A quality property, and would definately come back. Very quiet location and an ideal place to take a step back and chill.
-
"What a beautiful house, spotlessly clean and gorgeous furnishings."
Stunning views over the loch. Only thing we couldn't find was an iron/ironing board.Wouldn't stop us from highly recommending or returning.

"This is a beautiful property, with furniture and fittings of exceptional quality."
It has two beautiful bedrooms, one being ensuite, and both bathrooms are, again, designed to a very high standard. Just a short walk away is a private area for the complex on the shores of Loch Tay. It is set in one of Scotland's lovliest locations, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We did have a couple of minor issues. There is no iron/ironing board; there were only three knives and four forks; the only large knife is a bread knife and there is nowhere to dry clothes indoors, although there is a substantial rotary drier outside. These were minor hiccups, and did not spoil our experience. We would not hesitate to book Kalipé again and would recommend it to friends.
Hi Lynda, thanks for your comments. Great to know you liked our cottage and enjoyed your stay at Kalipe'. Apologies the cutlery was partially located in the kitchen drawer and, partly on the silver tray wrapped in ready-to-use tea towels. I am happy to say that iron and ironing board will be soon available to our guests. Thanks again in supporting us to improve the quality of our service. We look forward to welcoming you back soon at Kalipe'. Property Owner

Where you’ll be staying
KENMORE
Aberfeldy 6 miles, Pitlochry 20 miles, Dunkeld 24 miles.
The village of Kenmore sits at the eastern end of Loch Tay where the River Tay flows out of the loch and dates from the 16th century. Originally built on the north side of the river, the village was moved in mid-sixteenth century to accommodate a castle being built on the north shore. The relocation gave the village its current name reflecting its position on a large headland: Kenmore – ‘large head’ in Gaelic. It is Loch Tay that makes Kenmore such a popular tourist draw today with the many watersports, fishing, hillwalking and cycling activities on and around the loch. Why not visit the Scottish Crannog Centre and discover an ancient way of life in a reconstructed thatched house on stilts? Built on the loch and able to repel danger with the aid of a retractable gangway, these houses provide a fascinating insight into ancient civilisations. The village has shops, a couple of hotels and a restaurant and with the attractive towns of Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Dunkeld nearby, the tourist is very well provided for. The area is famous for its truly spectacular scenery and whether you are on the water, in the hills or in the shops, Kenmore can provide a stunning backdrop to a very pleasant break.
