St Davids, located in the fine county of Pembrokeshire is the smallest city in Britain, with a population of just over 1,500 people. There are many fantastic beaches nearby, both rocky and sandy, which have great views of the Welsh coastline. Whitesands Bay Beach in particular is a great surfing hotspot and one of the best locations for surfing in the country.
The city’s cathedral dates back to the 12th century, founded by the Welsh Patron Saint. Oriel y Parc is a great family-friendly location with lots of educational opportunities for people to learn about the local culture.
Take a boat trip and discover the beautiful Ramsey Island, which is located just 1km off the coast of St Davids. The nature reserve is a great spot for birdwatching. The pretty city, lined with quaint old buildings and independent boutiques has a vibrant atmosphere with locals very welcoming of all visitors.
