It's a quiet location and handy for so many places. The lodge was furnished to a very high standard and contained everything needed for self- catering ( we ate mostly in the lodge). We would definitely recommend it and will look to return in the future.

"Nice sized lodge for 6 people."
Everything we needed was provided with a welcome card and bottle of wine waiting for us. Plenty of light coming in and the place was snug and warm. Beds were comfortable and there was no noise to disturb our sleep. Everything was in working order although we didn't really watch TV People tended to look in when passing by but that was mainly because they noticed the lovely hanging light fitting over the dining table. Fully recommend 'Our Happy Place'

"Very comfortable lodge."
Inside nice and clean however, windows on the outside needed a clean. Restaurant/pub on site very good. Would definitely recommend.
Many thanks for your feedback. We’re so pleased you found our lodge comfortable. We apologise for the outside of the windows needing cleaning, but thank you for bringing it to our attention, so we are able to rectify this issue. We hope you decide to stay again with us in the future. Property Owner

"Really enjoyable stay, our happy place is a lovely lodge and very well kept."
Some minor maintenance issues during the heavy rain as loud dripping noise (from outside back twin room) kept us awake. Only scored this a 9 for location as for us it was a little bit too far from where we wanted to be (mostly The Lakes). Not alot to do on site for the kids (except the huge games cupboard which was a god send!) Thanks Karen & Phil. Would definitely recommend to others.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We will definitely look into the noise you can hear in the twin bedroom. Thanks for letting us know. We hope you decide to stay with us again in the future. X Property Owner

"Single beds were uncomfortable."
When requested, additional duvets were provided tolay on top of the spring base.
Thank you for you for your feedback. We’ve never had anyone advise the beds in the smallest bedroom were uncomfortable prior to your stay, but we have now rectified this issue. Thank you for pointing this out to us. As far as we were aware, it was only the beds that had presented a problem, so are disappointed that you marked cleanliness and accuracy of listing down, but we respect your opinion. Property Owner
