The property

Morfa Nefyn 2.5 miles.

A fabulous detached country cottage, located in delightful North Wales countryside, just 2.5 miles from the fantastic beaches and golf club at Morfa Nefyn, on the Llyn Peninsula.

Set over two floors with three staircases, this superb cottage has been converted from original barns and offers beautiful accommodation to provide a fantastic base full of modern comforts and quality furnishings.

With a fabulous, large open plan conservatory boasting country views, a kitchen, breakfast table and sitting area, this is a holiday home that's ideal for entertaining and socialising with friends and family.

There's also a separate snug sitting room with open fire, and an outstanding banqueting hall with a further seating area and a gabled ceiling revealing original wooden beams.

This cottage has eight bedrooms, including five on the ground floor.

Outside there is a gravelled space which offers superb country views, where you can relax and unwind, perhaps stargaze into the unspoilt night sky before gathering around the firepit to re-live memories of the day's events.

For a bit of extra indulgence, why not make use of a local chef who will cater for you at additional cost?

This cottage is an ideal base for enjoying the coastal resorts of Porthmadog, Abersoch and Caernarfon, as well as offering easy access to the Snowdonia National Park.

Nefyn 1.5 miles; Pwllheli 7 miles; Abersoch 11 miles.

The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, meaning little Nefyn, has a Post Office, a wonderful village shop with a cafe, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and watersports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore. The Llyn Peninsula is itself renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. Also within easy reach are Portmeirion and the Isle of Anglesey. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Morfa Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
