We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. Particularly liked the bee theme in the cottage, and watching the horses and sheep in the field opposite.

The owner of the property was so helpful And really made sure we had a great time. • "A perfect coastal retreat."

The cottage is truly an authentic barn conversion that is steeped in history, the setting is idyllic, there are birds singing and horses in the shed. The coastal path is just outside and the views are breathtaking, even at the beginning of March it was beautiful. The owner has taken a lot of time to ensure the cottage has everything needed and the file is packed with a range of invaluable information, the old photographs included are wonderful as is the well in the village. This is an ideal holiday for those wanting a rural escape by the sea and there is so much to see in walking distance and also many other places only a short car ride away. It is THE best place we have ever stayed for accommodation and location and can’t wait to return.

We loved returning each evening after our day's adventures and knowing we would be warm and cosy. The guide books were a helpful addition and we also enjoyed seeing photographs of Y Bwthyn Bach before it was renovated. Hope to return at some point when we can find the time from our hectic schedule for another break!

The owner is very helpful and while lockdown has altered what can be done everyone seems to be making an effort. Can not say what it will be like when cafes restaurants and pubs reopen but the two takeaways we had were very acceptable. We would go back.

  • "The owner is a really lovely lady, helpful and friendly but not imposing."

Settling is perfect for accessing a number of great beaches, one with a fab bar on it. We had an afternoon drink and snooze on the dog friendly beach but there are areas where dogs aren’t allowed. The little garden is great for sitting out in to relax at the end of the day. Conveniently parking is right next to the cottage. Bed was very comfy and the cottage it’s kitted out with everything you need
