The place was spotless clean, nicely decorated, lots of small lovely details. Great shower, kitchen fully equipped including tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, a bowl of fresh fruit and a nice bottle of wine. Having a fully enclosed paddock nearby meant that exercising my dog and taking her for toilet outings was easy. Dan the owner was always around, very helpful and flexible. It was everything we needed for a 4 days break. The village was quiet and well located to drive either to the coastal towns or to York. I would definitely recommend this cottage and it will stay on my shortlist of nice places to return!

Dan, the owner had gone the second mile to make me feel welcome in the provision of milk, tea and coffee as well as a few treats for my dog. The cottage is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Coming back to it after a day's walk was like coming home. The village of Snainton is lovely with local amenities close to hand [the village store and fish and chip shop was literally round the corner!].
