The property

This is a delight of a cottage in the heart of the village of Youlgreave, in the stunning Peak District National Park.

This lovely detached cottage is in an ideal location for families and friends wishing to enjoy time together in this wonderful part of the country.

With a small off road parking area, entry is to the rear of the cottage from where you will find the lovely dining room.

To the left of the dining room is a very cosy sitting room, with beams, stone floor and a delightful inglenook fireplace which houses a woodburning stove.

The well-equipped kitchen, on the other side of the dining room, has a fascinating "fossil spotting" wall and from the kitchen there is a wet room and a double bedroom, whilst upstairs you will find a comfortable king-size bedroom together with a twin room and family bathroom.

Outside the cottage there is a patio garden which is a really lovely spot to enjoy a cup of tea before deciding where to go that day!

In Youlgreave there is a small shop and Post Office, together with a selection of good pubs serving food, while a larger range of amenities are available in the nearby market town of Bakewell.

From this splendid cottage, wonderful walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the Peak District National Park, along with the Monsal and High Peak Trails, both of which are traffic-free routes.

With the magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall also within driving distance, this cottage is in the perfect cosy spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
