Perfect for… medieval heritage, large sandy beaches and impressive architecture

Conwy is a unique World Heritage Site with an impressive 13th century castle and medieval walls surrounding the town centre.

It’s one of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns and has a number of exceptional must-see sights. The Conwy Suspension Bridge acts as a gateway into the town and is part of the National Trust, with visitors able to explore inside or relax in the gardens either side.

Be sure to also travel inside Conwy Castle and appreciate the stunning architecture and well-preserved remains. Conwy Morfa beach, the largest in town, is a wide stretch of sandy beach which is dog-friendly and perfect for playing all your usual fun beach activities on. The town, watched over by the striking mountains of Snowdonia, has a number of traditional pubs and cafes for all visitors to be welcomed into.
