Love the 'Great Outdoors'? Then try a cottage in the Mendips, a range of limestone hills and designated AONB stretching for around fifty miles between Weston-super-Mare and Frome.

Walking, climbing, mountain biking, riding, fishing, abseiling and golf are all possibilities here and the panoramic views of Salisbury Plain, Exmoor National Park and South Wales coastline take some beating.
