  • Tintangel Castle, Tintangel – These dramatic medieval castle ruins are spellbinding. The castle harks back to 1230, while legend links the spectacular coastline site to Arthurian times
  • Newquay Zoo, Newquay – At Newquay Zoo you’ll find more than 130 of the world’s most exciting animals, including ferocious lions, dazzling zebras, adorable red pandas and a number of creepy crawlies
  • Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay – Come face-to-face with sharks and giant octopus as you wander safely through tunnels beneath the naturally-themed habitats of more than 40 sea life wonders
  • Crealy Adventure Park, Wadebridge – Cornwall’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is home to fun rides, animals – including a reptile house – and attractions that will keep children and adults entertained all day long
  • Buccaneer Bay (Pirate’s Quest), Newquay – Rub shoulders with pirates, smugglers and mermaids as you follow a treasure map to find the hidden booty on this live hour-long tour
  • Trerice, Newquay – Trerice is a beautiful Elizabethan manor with a delightful interior and set within charming gardens – making it a perfect place to wander and enjoy a Cornish cream tea
  • Prideaux Place, Padstow –Prideaux Place has remained in the same family since it was built in 1592. A tour takes in the finest of the 91 rooms and the quietude of the garden makes it a perfect place for a relaxing stroll
  • Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Newquay – Travel back in time to the age of steam and climb aboard one of Lappa Valley’s famous steam trains before riding on Arthur, the railway’s diesel shunter locomotive
  • Museum of Witchcraft, Boscastle – Get spooked at the world’s largest collection of witching and magical paraphernalia, and thumb age-old spell books in the library
  • Classic Air Force, Newquay – Hawker aircrafts are responsible for some of most significant planes in British aviation history, and a collection of them can be found, among other classics, at Newquay’s Classic Air Force base
  • Screech Owl Sanctuary, St Columb – Owls from all corners of the world can be found at the Screech sanctuary alongside other fauna, including alpacas, meerkats, emus and racoons
  • The Camel Trail, Wadebridge & Padstow – The stunning 18 mile trail can be enjoyed by foot, or from the saddle of a bike or a horse. With very few motorised vehicles to disturb the peace, it begins in Padstow and ends in Wentfordbridge, with Wadebridge and Boscarne serving as well-positioned rest stops along the way
  • Dairyland Farm World, Newquay – There’s always something happening at Dairyland Farm World, whether it is pony rides, feeding time, the milking parlour or the Lamborghini Hayride. Visitors will have the chance to pet the animals and enjoy the Bull Pen play centre
