Find Holidays in Ryde
Perfect for… beach breaks, a friendly atmosphere and the annual carnival
Ryde’s stunning sandy beach, which is the largest on the Isle of Wight, is definitely its most unique and inviting feature.
Beach activities are a popular pastime at low tide and there are regular beach soccer tournaments enjoyed by people of all ages. Other fun activities in the town include a bowling alley, go-karting for the thrill seekers and the exciting Goodleaf Tree Climbing experience.
Just outside of Ryde, you can find Quarr Abbey. Completed in 1912, the monastery is a beautiful Grade I listed building with beautiful gardens and a welcoming tea room. The end of summer sees Ryde Carnival, the oldest carnival in the UK and a celebration of colour and lights where people of all ages are welcome to get involved in the local parade.
