Allerton Castle
Grade 1 listed Allerton Castle as a masterpiece of gothic revival architecture, and it is widely considered to be one of England’s most important and prominent stately residences.
The castle gardens and grounds provide a beautiful setting for any event or day out, giving guests the chance to meander through the gardens and take in the surrounding landscape.
There are several lovely rooms inside, including the drawing room, library, and music and pool rooms. The Great Hall, which greets you as you enter the castle, is decorated with intricate gothic Victorian oak, making it a beautiful setting for any wedding or event. In contrast, the Ballroom is ideal for extravagant birthday dinners, life celebrations, or more open-air events like food shows, afternoon tea, and tours.
The castle is even a popular filming location for TV and movies so you might recognise a few spots!
