Take a dive into the seas surrounding the UK without touching so much as a single drop of sea water! At Anglesey Sea Zoo, you can explore and learn about the amazing marine life found within the British Isles.
You’ll be able to get up close and personal with jellyfish, anemones, crabs, lobsters, whelks, mussels, rays and octopus, plus much more. You can also go behind the scenes and find out how the inhabitants of the sea zoo are fed and what’s on the menu!
Anglesey Sea Zoo is also committed to conservation, running captive breeding, release and education programmes. You can learn all about their efforts to preserve sea life through their Lobster Hatchery of Wales, Seahorse Conservation and Crawfish research programmes.
For those wanting to make a difference on their trip, Anglesey Sea Zoo organises regular beach cleans at nearby Tan-Y-Foel Beach. If you miss an organised clean, don’t panic! The centre is happy to provide equipment to those wishing to do their bit – just express your interest when you book.
