Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse
Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse was established in 1859 and is a left-handed racecourse situated near Wrexham. The popular racecourse enjoys the idyllic backdrop of the Welsh country.
The first steeplechase meeting occurred on 25th February 1859, and nowadays hosts 14 fixtures each year. The fixtures consist of jump racing, with highlights being the Ladies Day and Anne Duchess of Westminster Charity day.
Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse also houses marvellous restaurants, The Paddock and The Wynnstay. Here, groups as large as 30 can be accommodated. Alternatively, you can book a private dining chalet or marquee for a group between 20-500 guests.
The racecourse not only caters to horse racing, it’s also a great events venue with the capacity to host celebrations, weddings, exhibitions and conferences.
