Positioned just east of Prestatyn’s main strip, Barkby is a popular visitor beach. The beach is sandy with a series of rocky breakwaters and a promenade to the rear. There are plenty of sand dunes to explore as well as grassy areas set up for picnics.

The north-westerly outlook of this beach makes it a breezy spot that’s ideal for windsurfing and kite flying.

There are dog restrictions in place from May until October at this beach.
