Want to treat yourself and the little ones to a wonderful day out where you can see aquatic life first-hand? Come to Blue Planet Aquarium – Chester!
The aquarium is open daily, between 10am-5pm, with the last entry being 4pm. There are a range of tickets available, too, from standard to ‘Groovy Grandparents’ packages. Alternatively, you can buy an annual membership if you plan to come more than once!
There are an array of fascinating exhibits waiting for you here, including the tropical delights of the Northern Streams and Flooded Forest.
The Ocean Exhibit is the showstopper though, with a four-million-litre underwater tunnel offering a mesmerising walk. You’ll feel like you’re swimming amongst sharks, stingrays and colourful fish here!
Pelican Cove is another wonderful exhibit. You can find it outside with an array of Dalmation Pelicans waiting to meet you.
Talks and feedings take place daily, so you can easily get involved in the goings on of the aquarium. You can also book a special shark diving experience, available for adults and juniors, if you’re daring enough!
Once you’ve finished your tour, why not stop at the gift shop and pick up a souvenir? Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet also rests close by, offering ample dining and shopping options.
