Hayle is famed for its three-mile stretch of golden sand and Hayle Towans Beach makes up a large proportion of it. The beach features The Site, an area perfect for surfing thanks to its north-facing position and the north-coast swells that come with it.

The beach is lifeguarded and dogs are welcome all year apart from in July and August when activities such as sand yachting take over the beach along with sunbathers and paddlers.
