Looe Wooldown

The Wooldown is a tranquil oasis situated high above East Looe’s town centre. It boasts breathtaking views of the ocean, the coast and St George’s Island.

Fields and hedgerows combine to create this idyllic spot, providing the perfect habitat for local wildlife. Bird species nesting here include bullfinch, song thrush, goldcrest and wren. Butterflies are also often spotted at The Wooldown with red admirals, peacocks and speckled woods among them.

Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs for walks here and with three open fields to explore, it will provide a pleasant and invigorating hike.
