The Newbiggin Maritime Centre, located at the northern end of the promenade, provides unbroken views across the beach and along the stunning Northumbrian coastline. Our award-winning structure now provides spectacular views of the bay from our Viewing Gallery, and you may be lucky enough to witness a pod of dolphins or perhaps a whale that comes to visit us from time to time.
The huge, bright, and airy Breakwater Cafe serves a variety of coastal favourites, as well as a gallery area dedicated to displaying the work of local artists, and the Seashore Shop is brimming with one-of-a-kind handcrafted local products.
