Oriel Ynys Mon
Explore the history and art of Anglesey at Oriel Môn. This museum and gallery combine items and information of historical interest with artistic works from renowned local artists to paint a picture of the island’s past.
Highlights include almost 400 works by Kyffin Williams, one of Wales’s most loved and respected painters, Bronze and Iron Age artefacts, and traditional costumes are once worn on the island.
Contemporary painters are also showcased at Oriel Môn with seven annual exhibitions each year by local and nationally significant artists. From landscape paintings to ceramics and sculpture and photography, exhibitions are filled with varied art forms.
The museum runs family-friendly activities throughout the year including the Welsh Museums Festival.
