This fascinating museum houses artefacts and information relating to the history of the parish of St Agnes which encompasses Mount Hawke, Porthtowan, Mithian, Trevellas and Blackwater. Items in the collection relate to everything from farming and folklore to domestic life and mining.

Among the treasures here is a leatherback turtle and a display depicting life under the sea, tools of the mining trade, photographs and portraits.

The museum shop is packed with interesting books and gifts and pocket money items for children to buy.
