Sosban and The Old Butchers Restaurant
Sosban is located in the centre of Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey, inside of a historically significant butcher’s shop.
This modest, compact restaurant is just over Thomas Telford’s suspension bridge, with covered windows adding a sense of exclusivity. Once inside, you’ll find an appealingly rustic area with Welsh slate walls, wooden seats upholstered in sheepskins, and hand-painted animal tiling harkening back to its days as a butcher’s shop.
A number of courses are served, each of which makes use of the freshest and most flavorful locally sourced ingredients that are available on that particular day. This results in a singular gastronomic experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
