Summers Beach St Mawes

Summers Beach is St Mawes’ main beach and attracts many visitors each year. This is mainly because of its closeness to a public car park, which makes it easy to access.

The beach consists mostly of pebbles, so it’s not ideal for sunbathing. However, you can look forward to going rock pooling here.

Summers Beach is dog-friendly all day between the months of September and June. So, you can bring your canine companion along for a walk along the coast!

You’ll also be happy to find a slipway here. With this, you can launch small boats into the water and enjoy a spot of sailing!

After you’ve finished up rock pooling or sailing, head to the beach’s public toilets to freshen up. Alternatively, you can head into St Mawes and enjoy a bite to eat at one of its cafes. Cafe Chandlers and St Mawes Bakery are both situated close to the coast and offer delicious dishes.

A beach day packed with rock pooling and boating awaits at Summers Beach…
