"Wow from when you unlock the door inside was beautiful, however just a few minor tweaks needed sadly some things shown on booking sadly not usable which was addressed in our email on arrival, outdoor area could do with an upgrade and clean, to match the inside, also arrived with children with one being under 2 unfortunately miniature animal toys left under sofa and inside sofa which could have ended badly (something maybe the cleaner should have noticed), But with that said this didn't stop us as a family having a brilliant stay, would still return."

"Lodge when we arrived first impression was it was huge very spacious and clean, it was all unlocked with windows open on arrival (not sure if this is something the cleaners do) this is one of the nicest lodges on this site that we have been too and we’ve stayed here a few times, beds comfy could do with extra pillows as only had two per bed but we managed, noticed too that there was no shelving to put shower gel/shampoo on also could do with somewhere to put toothbrushes on in the shower room."
Patio doors where really hard to unlock and lock they could do with looking at but again we managed. On departure we took pillow cases, sheets and duvet covers off beds like we always do to help the cleaners out noticed some brown stains on duvet and pillows maybe they could get changed. But apart from that we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay in this lodge again
Thank you for the feedback . I will look into the points mentioned and rectify . Glad you had a great stay and hope to see you again Thank you Property Owner

"The lodge was really impressive."
Set in a lovely location. It would benefit from a welcome pack with information about what to do with rubbish and information about local vets, hospitals etc. The location of it is fantastic. There were ducks with ducklings popping along every day for some food. If staying in the hot weather then take a fan with you as night time can get very warm.

"Absolutely lovely break away!"
We did not want to come home. The lodge was lovely and spacious We spent a lot of time outside on the decking as it was lovely and sunny the week we was there. On a lovely site. Close to every where we wanted to visit while here. Can’t fault anything. Would love to come back again. X
Thank you Emma for the great feedback its much appreciated Property Owner

"Lovely clean lodge fantastic view."
Beds very comfy only downside was the corner sofa. Very hard to get up off it especially with somebody with mobility issue. Ramp was excellent for mobility scooter. Wet room nice but again could do with a handle near shower. Would definitely recommend just wasn’t suitable for us

"We recently stayed at this lakeside lodge for the second time, having loved our first visit so much."
Unfortunately, this stay didn’t quite have the same warm and personal feel as before. On our first visit, there were thoughtful touches waiting for us like tea, coffee, and sugar, which made the lodge feel welcoming and cared for. This time, none of those little extras were provided, and overall it felt far less personable. The biggest disappointment came after we left. I realised I’d accidentally left my card holder on the entryway shelving unit and contacted the owner straight away. Sadly, despite being told the owner would get back to me, I’m still waiting to hear back 8 weeks later. The location itself is still lovely, but the level of customer care and attention to detail we experienced the first time just wasn’t there on this occasion.
Good afternoon Antonia Thank you for your feedback. My apologies i thought I had emailed you back with regards to your card holder. if I didnt I do apologise. The cleaners didnt report finding this item after your stay . once again I apologise if I didnt email you back. Kind Regards Chris Property Owner

"12A Lakeside is an ideal place to stay, clearly exhibiting in every way the pride its owners take in it."
Its position by the lake is perfect and it was a treat to watch the escapades of the mallards as we had our breakfast. Its being on one level is a major plus for those who, like me, do not do stairs very well. A short drive takes one to a very good hotel, Longlands, offering delicious food. Be advised to take kitchen roll, fairy liquid (not supplied) and extra toilet rolls. A minor quibble. We had a great week and would book again.
Thanks for your great feedback / review . With regards to the toilets rolls etc I will mention this to the cleaning company as they supply the basic cleaning facilities for the lodge and replenish each booking. Thank you John And I glad you had a great time . Thanks Chris Property Owner

"Very nice lodge clean, spacious, well equipped for self catering, comfortable ,nice outlook on the lake."
Regarding the disability element accessiblty is good but wet room requires hand rail on shower and toilet . Sofa's in lounge extremely low .for any body with mobility issues..
Good evening Thank you for your feedback its much appreciated. I will look into the hand rail in the wet room for future reference. Thank you Property Owner

"Gorgeously decorated, spacious lodge that met all of our party needs and more!"
Plenty of room for our party of 5 and 2 dogs. Highlight was the beautiful decking and outdoor areas, where we enjoyed watching the swans swim by and having drinks around the fire pit table in the evening. Only thing to mention is the jetty - some work to this would allow it to be used. There is a lot of plants preventing it from being used to its full capacity.

"We stay in a lot of lodges around the country and this one tops the list so far."
The lodge we stayed in was really great for our vacation, the description and photos don't do it enough justice, big enough to accommodate our family of 5 and the dog. The views from the decking to the lake were breathtaking, the immense size catered for all our family needs, ( disabled, child, dog, all ages ) Anyone looking for a modern spacious lodge as a base to explore the surrounding areas wouldn't go wrong with this place. Would recommend a visit.
Thank you very much for you review its much appreciated. Kind Regards Chris Property Owner

"This lodge is outstanding & everything we hoped for in a lovely location, well equipped in fact the best ive been to."
Only a couple of small things there was no mirror in the bedroom next to the wet room or bathroom for my dad to shave etc. & no chair, as my dad struggles to stand for long but this was a minor problem & we had a great holiday & hope to come back. Only other thing was no sthop on the site but that nothing to do with the property. All in all 10 out 10 thank you.
Good morning Thank you for ypur great feedback . I will take note of you advisories and look to add these to the lodge. Thank you Chris Property Owner

"Was really looking forward to this break , the lodge itself is very nice ."
But I have to say I was extremely disappointed that I could not get on the lake with my paddle board due to over grown weeds from the jetty, as the picture on the website clearly shows you can do this as other guests were from there lodges and this spoilt it for us . Little things like the mirror in the bedroom couldn’t use the lights around it as they didn’t work . Over all it is a beautiful lodge .
Good Evening Im sorry you had a negative experience with regards to the lake access . The water is maintained by the site itself and alot of the water area infront is a nesting area for water hens etc . So the site can only cut back the water weed once / twice a year due to the nests. With regards to the mirror its most likely the batteries have gone and the cleaners may have missed this. once again my apologies if these things ruined your visit to my lodge . Kind Regards Chris Property Owner
