“This is probably the best cottage we have stayed at.”

...ever, and we have booked many cottage holidays before! We couldn't fault anything - the location was brilliant for exploring the Gower and beautiful sandy beaches and clifftops. The cottage itself had all the facilities we would hope for, and we were really impressed by the massive book, CD and DVD collections in the house. The garden was simply wonderful, and the owner provide us with a very generous welcome pack. Thank you, and we would love to return there another time.

The property

A truly delightful cottage, Blue Damson is ideally positioned for exploring both the beauty of the coast and countryside of Wales.

In easy reach of the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Brecon Beacons National Park, there's no better base for a getaway with your loved ones at any time of year.

Step into the snug area of this semi-detached cottage to be welcomed into a homely aura; this bright and airy spot makes a great place to delve into a good book selected from one of many provided within the property, with the sitting room conveniently attached offering a warming woodburning stove where you can all gather together with a warming cup of tea in the evenings after a day of rambling amongst the Wales Coastal Path.

Moving further into the property you will find the kitchen/diner, with the kitchen tucked around the corner, you can toast at the dining table after the chef of the group has prepared a tasty treat for the group using the good range of appliances on offer.

The kitchen also benefits from overlooking the wonder of the garden, providing plenty of space for your canine companion to stretch their legs whilst you take a seat in the summerhouse and take in the stupendous panoramic views from Swansea Bay to the Brecon Beacons.

As you begin to tire, find comfort on the first floor in the form of four well-presented bedrooms; choose from two double bedrooms, a twin and a single, as well as the added benefit of a camping bed able to sleep that extra little one, so the whole family can come along on your fun-filled trip.

The local area of Three Crosses is a fantastic destination for an array of activities, from the simplicities of pubs, a local shop and a Post Office, to a golf course and a children's play area, there's something for everyone.

Spend a day in the excitement of Swansea, providing wonderful shopping experiences as well as boasting rich history found in one of its museums, or spend a day relaxing on the coast and topping up your tan.

With ample walking routes available along the coast and in the countryside, Blue Damson is the ultimate abode for your family adventure at any time of year.
