This cottage was beyond expectations, it was fantastic. We were greeted by the owner who was lovely and very informative. The cottage was very clean and well maintained everything was up-todate. It was warm at the times needed, the luxury king size bed was so comfortable (best night sleeps for a long time). The views from the windows are spectacular. We booked a meal at the Greyhound inn just outside the village of Hackforth it was very good and friendly and busy (So book a table). Visit Bedale & especially Leyburn and Northallerton & Richmond & Ripon all are wonderful market towns. Snow covered the landscape when we stayed but this did not deter us from getting out and about. The tea rooms opposite are brilliant and are within easy walking distance. We had a fantastic week at the cottage.and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. We will return another time.
