Swanage is a pretty coastal town in the South East of Dorset with plenty of things to do in and around the town to keep the whole family entertained.

Brush up on the local history by visiting the 1,000-year history of Corfe Castle, a medieval fortress with remaining ruins maintained by the National Trust. Alternatively, you could follow in the footsteps of T.E. Lawrence, one of the area’s most famous residents, by visiting his cottage, which is preserved by the National Trust.

There are many things to do along the Swanage coast, surrounded by breath-taking scenery. Take a trip to the beautiful Lulworth Cove overlooking the natural formation of Old Harry Rocks or soak up the breath-taking views from Swanage Pier.
