Lulworth Cottages
Welcome to Dorset's Jurassic Coast, home to amazing
geological features and delightful Lulworth Cove cottages.
Created some 10,000 years ago by pounding sea and river, the
perfect horse-shoe harbour of Lulworth Cove is one of the
county's most iconic natural sites. It is privately owned by
the Weld Family of the Lulworth Estate and is an ideal place to
unwind.
The cove itself has a pebbly beach - it does shelve steeply so
do take care when bathing - but if you plan to take your
four-legged friend to your Lulworth Cove cottage, the good news is
that the beach is dog-friendly. There's a large car park,
toilet facilities and also a beachside café for welcoming
refreshments with a splendid view! Do visit the Heritage Centre,
offering an interpretative display of the Lulworth area, geology
and fossil section, exhibits from sailing and smuggling, plus
guided walks.
In summer, enjoy a boat trip to Mupe Bay or Durdle Door, another
spectacular coastal feature with magnificent arch and beach - you
really do get the best views out from sea. Or you can follow the
coastal path over the hill to Durdle Door.

End your day relaxing in the village pub then retire to your
cosy Lulworth Cove cottage. What bliss!
