Ripley is located in between the Peak District National Park, the city of Derby and Nottingham, all of which are easily accessible. Head over to the Peaks to explore some truly magnificent countryside or venture across to Nottingham and visit its castle or the National Justice Museum.

The town of Ripley itself is steeped with industrial history. There are various 19th century buildings that can be seen and, nearby, there's the Midland Railway Centre, which has a range of working steam trains.
