Bicton Park Botanical Gardens
Bicton Park Botanical Gardens is a set of beautiful, landscaped gardens that are must-sees during a Devon break. There are over 64 acres waiting to be explored, all of which boast over 300 years of history.
Indoor gardens, outdoor gardens, tropical greenhouses and an array of activities are just a few of things you can experience here. The main highlight, however, must be Palm House.
The glass structure houses an array of stunning plants for you to admire, before wandering out to the adjacent rose garden. Afterwards, why not head to the tropical delights of Arid House or Temperate House?
For more beautiful sights, make your way to the formal gardens, where the Italian Garden, The Orangery and the Mirror Pond are bound to impress.
If you’re visiting Bicton Park Botanical Gardens with little ones, be sure to take them to the marvellous play areas. Mini golf, football, the Bicton Woodland Railway and an indoor play zone will keep them entertained!
Continue the fun with a visit to the Countryside Museum, where its exhibition halls are packed with domestic memorabilia. Here, you can receive a great insight into the estate and its past.
