Derwent Pencil Museum
The Derwent Pencil Museum is located in the centre of Keswick, where the first pencil was made.
From its humble beginnings as a cottage industry to its present-day manufacturing processes, the museum is home to a replica graphite mine, which would have supplied the industry more than three centuries ago.
