Cottage: 2nd time round at CHOUGH (so I could continue where I left reading "Reformation" --from the bookshelf-- which I began in April 2013) and 19th time at Pendra Loweth. Clean, tidy, warm, comfy beds, no smells, airy, well-lit, everything works. We made good use of the welcome pack. Easy parking. Slow Broadband. Pendra Loweth was serenely quiet. The stream was in spate and pleasant. Robin and Thrush sang by day and Tawny Owls by night. ONE WISH: the ground level street-lights :-- half have lost their shades; dazzling the eyes and spoiling the starry night sky. Please fit the shades they all used to have. For online booking it w help if P. Loweth was listed as an entity separate from F'mouth. Hoping this helps.

The property

This comfortable cottage in the Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, is one of a group of purpose built, privately owned holiday cottages, set in a peaceful valley close to the beach at Maenporth in Falmouth.

Onsite facilities include tennis courts, children’s outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours) making this a practical venue for families looking for a coastal holiday.

Chough Cottage is nicely furnished with a light and spacious open plan living space with French windows opening onto a patio.

The kitchen is cleverly arranged with ample work area and there are two bedrooms; a double, and a twin.

Chough Cottage benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove.

Walking to the beach from your cottage will take approximately fifteen minutes, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day.

Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private terrace.

Just a few minutes stroll to the central amenities, those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the Splash Pool or a work out in the Gym.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.
