It is immaculately clean, the kitchen is fabulously well equipped, beds are extremely comfortable and all bathrooms are ensuite and feel luxurious.
The garden is fully enclosed so is safe for dogs. Lovely walks local to the house but also excellent access to stunning beaches and cliff walks. Our host was very friendly and informative and we felt extremely well looked after.
We can throughly recommend this house for adults and families.

"We (that is a toddler aged 3, his Mum and Dad,one set of Grandparents and a chippy Cocker Spaniel) spent a lovely week at the Dairy in late August /early September."
We booked quite late when quality vacant properties in the West Country were in very short supply. We spent many hours trying to find somewhere we all liked and even though we finally settled on the Dairy we had some reservations about it - not least what appeared to be the absence of a decent garden area. As it turned out we loved the property. The website photos tend to suggest it is a bit enclosed by other buildings and scarcely do it justice although there is now a picture of the garden now added - well done!!. It is located in an idyllic quiet hamlet of farm buildings with a suntrap garden and could scarcely be more peaceful and relaxing. The Dairy itself is very spacious and tastefully decorated and was spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped and the three bedrooms on the lower ground floor were perfect each with en suite facilities including lovely showers.
The property was within striking distance of some great beaches on the North Devon coast and some quaint rural pubs (try the Black Venus for super food) and Lee Village for a quiet and secluded beach a million miles away from the busier sands at Ilfracombe, Croyde and Woolacombe (nonetheless ideal for our toddler who enjoyed some happy hours with his bucket and spade). We had three sunny days and on those days that weren't so great we enjoyed walks on the fringes of Exmoor. Finally the delightful lady who owned the Dairy was always around to offer advice and information about the area. Importantly she seemed to manage to be around when we needed some help but otherwise left us to ourselves - a rare and important talent!!. We had a terrific break in this rather special property and location. Thank you.

A short drive to some of North Devons beautiful beaches.
We had two puppies and they were welcome in most places including shops, pubs, cafes and beaches which helped to make our holiday even more enjoyable.
We would definitely recommend The Diary to family and friends.

"The Dairy is a very well designed barn conversion."
The main floor is the lounge (with a big TV and a fire), dining area, and a very well equipped kitchen with a large induction range oven, fridge, freezer and even wine cooler. Bedrooms are downstairs. We only used the master bedroom, with a generously kitted out en-suite with shower and jaccuzi bath. The bed itself was very comfortable - and over all, the accommodation was first rate. The location is certainly rural, about half a mile off the main road, down a narrow lane. It was very quiet, and had no mobile signal - but it did have surprisingly good broadband speeds. We found it a good base for local walks - there is a lovely little valley just down the road, and walks on the the North Devon coastline are only a short drive away (Coombe Martin, Hunters Inn, Lynton etc) . The beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde are a little bit further - but easily accessible. The nearest large supermarkets are at Barnstaple, which is about 30 minutes drive away(but try and avoid the "going home" evening rush In Barnstaple as the roads got very busy). The owner was very welcoming, and provided generous welcome supplies. We had a very pleasant break here, and are happy to say the quality of the facilities at the Dairy well exceeded our expectations. We would like to return!
