Discover ancient history on a Sussex cottage break

Rent a cottage in Sussex and expect history and heritage around every turn- after all, Sussex is home to Hastings, a town famous for being the place where the Normans invaded Britain in 1066. Visit Battle Abbey and the fields where the Anglo-Saxons were defeated by the French raiders over 950 years ago, or take a daytrip to one of the county's other historic castles or manor houses, including Sheffield Park Garden, Bodiam Castle and the ruin of Nymans country house.
