Car parking is no longer 'free for all' as bays are numbered and we had a. note left on our car saying not to park in particular bays. How would a group with 2+ cars be able to park near the accommodation. Location known so next door business park known. Still an eyesore. Safety information generic rather than building specific. My job is fire safety and this accommodation does not comply with fire safety legislation in my view. We paid £550-ish for this week. Next year through Sykes it's over £926 for the same week - why?! Your August prices are, in my view, a cynical rip-off of people wanting a holiday.

  • "Lovely apartment, probably the best kitted out kitchen we have ever had in a holiday home."

Bed was really comfortable. Fantastic access to the coastal path. Only thing that could improve this place would be the bathrooms, although perfectly adequate the showers aren’t the best and the size of the one bathroom would benefit from a bath. Would recommend a stay!

The property was very comfortable, especially the large beds, and the views of the sea were fantastic on the days it didn't rain! We booked last minute as our original had fallen through due to Covid restrictions and we definitely weren't disappointed. With a bit more effort, this property could be even better. In places (eg the bathrooms and paintwork) the finish could have been a bit higher quality and there seemed to be some random bits of wood stored under the beds and sofa! There is also a hot tub at the property and it would be great if guests could use it.

The apartment itself is very well furnished and crockery and utensils in kitchen are everything you would need. Very comfortable beds and all in all a lovely flat. The downside is, although there is a massive TV in lounge it is worked by a small inside aerial on the windowsill. We were unable to watch any live TV as the picture was consistently broken up, even on catch up. We were basically confined to watching You Tube. We were three elderly friends holidaying together and due to Covid were not intending to be going out at night into pubs, so we were relying on evenings in watching TV. It was also as well as were not out after dark as it was pitch black outside apartment until factory outside light came on around 10pm and went off again around midnight. Other than these two points it was an enjoyable stay with a nice big balcony with a view of the sea and Portland lighthouse. If the weather had been hot it would have been useful to have a sunshade out there.

  • "Slightly misleading photo."

Showed property having 2 balconies when one is at flat next door. Apartment lovely, views amazing. Location (on edge of a very quiet industrial estate) is a liutle alarming on arrival but you soon forget. The view and tranquilty outweigh that. We had no noise at all. Highly recommend

The dust in the place was unbelievable cobwebs under the cooker hood, thick layer of dust on top of fridge and on the table. In my room you could tell the hoover hadn’t been used as sweet wrappers was still on the floor along with hair, and for the main bathroom I was appalled, the tap had limescale and hand prints over it, the plug in the shower looked liked it haven’t been cleaned since I visited last October(2019) with hair and mould down the plug hole and for the floor there was still hair from the previous occupants which was just built up around the sink and shower area again. For my brothers room oh my god, I think you need to get a window fitter in and quickly, the widow has dropped that much you could see day light round the seal, when the blind was dropped on an evening and the wind was mega rough this week the blind was lifting from the draft and also towels was used to block the bottom on the window where there are gaps/holes where the wind was also getting through, the room was like an ice block every night. Yes after going and making a complaint about the cleanliness of the place cleaners came back the next day but it didn’t look like they did anything apart from push a hoover round. And when we was told the area manager would be getting in touch the following day after making another complaint no one got in touch, which we are pretty disappointed about.
