From the front door you enter a small entrance hall which leads to the well-equipped kitchen and then through into the large combined living/dining area.
There is a table and chairs together with comfortable seating and a multi-fuel stove set in a lovely stone inglenook fireplace.
There is also a handy utility room where the washing machine is situated.
Upstairs there are two charming bedrooms, both of which have Velux windows and sloping ceilings.
The accommodation is complete with a family bathroom.
Outside, you have access to a portion of the owners' two acres of woodland garden, complete with stream and seating area perfect for relaxing and planning your next day's adventures.
At the bottom of the garden a well-surfaced coastal path leads down to the shoreline and one of the best beaches for fossil hunting.
A pub and restaurant is also a 10 minutes stroll from the cottage along this coastal path.
Further afield is the town of Portree, which is in a central location on the Isle of Skye, and you can explore and enjoy the marvellous scenery, together with the abundance of wildlife.
Be sure to visit the world-famous Dunvegan Castle and the coral beaches.
After a day touring, walking or fishing you can return to your comfortable cottage and relax.
