  • "Stayed at three lochs."

Lovely welcome and caravan has everything you need. Bonus having the air fryer as caravan ovens are always slower than usual. Lovely decking area to sit out in. WiFi would have been useful and a bit more padding on the sofa but all in all very enjoyable holiday, lots to do on site and plenty of walking in local area, very welcoming and approachable owners, definitely recommend them

Thanks for your feedback back we really appreciated it . Property Owner

  • "We have just finished a week holiday with 2 young children."

The caravan was clean and came with everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The host also left a very generous welcoming package including things such as bread, milk, tea, coffee, beer and wine which was alot more than I was expecting. The park itself was ideal for the kids with a swimming pool and a free soft play plus lots more bookable activities such as archery. The park is very well maintained. All the people we met on the site were very friendly and the onsite pub was a good place for a drink on an evening. My son and I also tried the inflatable water obstacle course on the loch which was great fun. Only negative was it was a bit of a drive to get anywhere offsite as nearest towns were not in walking distance. But all in all I would highly recommend the caravan and park.

  • "Mid week stay so site was quiet."

The caravan was very clean and came well equipped with dishes, cleaning products and beds were made up on arrival. We took our two dogs, unfortunately due to he heat we couldn't sit outside with them because of the fake grass on the decking which was to hot for them. The seating area outside could be improved, it looks great but not practical as the seats were uncomfortable. Inside the shower was lovely, great oven, fridge, microwave and George foreman along with a kettle. Because only 2 windows open in the whole living room/kitchen area it was very hot inside, we managed to find a fan but it was very small and didn't really do much. Main bedroom was fine, bed was comfortable and pillows were great they looked brand new. The site itself would be great in high season, but again as we went out of season 13-16 June the pool, and water sports were all closed. However we were never told this and even got emails from 3lochs encouraging us to book facilities.

Thanks again for coming im dropping a large fan of tomorrow and ordered more cushions for outside . I should have got the fan earlier because I did see weather was coming we are usually that lucky Property Owner

STRANRAER

Portpatrick 8 miles; Newton Stewart 25 miles.

Stranraer, which became a Burgh of Barony in 1596 and a Royal Burgh in 1617, lies on the shores of Loch Ryan on the northern side of the isthmus joining the Rhins of Galloway to the mainland. There are many shops and cafes to while away an hour or two and the Stranraer Town Trail explains some of the fascinating history. For walkers, the Southern Upland Way touches Stranraer on its way through the Galloway Hills, having begun in Portpatrick, 7 miles to the west. Three nearby gardens are open to the public and well worth a visit at Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and Logan. Stranraer has several beaches, however it is worth travelling to Sandhead and New England Bay for wonderful sandy beaches. A short drive south and you come to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s southernmost point. The lighthouse on the headland looks over some of the last remaining sections of natural coastal habitat on the Galloway coast and an RSPB nature reserve has been set up to retain this spectacular and diverse area.
