  • "The apartment was splendid, wonderful location and well equipped, the kitchen was better equipped than we expected."

Many of the electric sockets had USB charging points which was excellent. The lack of parking wasn't a problem because we were there in the off season, but have to agree with other reviews, sadly missing a dedicated parking space. However. Would we return? YES

  • "It was very dark when we arrived and initially found the entrance gate hard to find, no lights and very small unlit nameplate."

The stairs were dark and it was awkward to find the keybox and unlock the door. However, once in we found a lovely, clean, well equipped apartment. We put the heating on, unpacked and then walked the 30 yards to the Port William Inn. The apartment is comfortable and catered for all our needs for our 4 day break. The welcome pack of milk cream, scones and jam were a nice touch. The beach is 20 yards away and there is a nice cafe and beach shop opposite. The downsides for us were the windows were filthy dirty and virtually impossible to see through and the bedroom window is sealed shut. Not able to open the window during the night for fresh air and a serious fire risk as the bedroom is off the hallway and sitting room, something that needs addressing quickly. Parking is hit and miss, on a sunny day the car park was full with no where to park, when we found parking it is £8 for overnight stays throughout the year. I think the price reflects the difficulties we had with the entrance, lighting on stairs, windows and parking but they are definitely not complaints, merely observations that could be looked at for the future. We would definitely stay here again.

  • "Lovely flat ideal for a quick break by the sea."

No parking place even though one advertised, you have to use council car park nearby by £8 a day. Mattress could do with being a bit firmer but that’s my preference. Would stay again great location

  • "Information said dedicated parking space but there wasn't."

Told ok to park in road which was a controlled zone. A traffic warden booked everyone on the Tuesday or Wednesday, fortunately we parked in car park at cost of £40. I would like this to be refunded but I guess that won't happen.

  • "Great property and location ideal for 2 adults and 1 dog, beach dog friendly all year round."

Details need changing regarding parking as it said designated parking but it was public parking in one of the car parks. Great kitchen facilities but more variation of glasses would be good and there was no information folder. Would definately return.

Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside.
